hand fan vs battery powered

so i’ve always brought a hand fan with me to shows so that i can fan myself and others when it gets warm in the crowd. my only issue is that after a while, my arms start to feel like they’re going to break off. lately i’ve been seeing more people bringing small battery powered fans and thought they might be a good alternative. i’m just not sure if it would be as strong as my big hand fan. i’m curious to know which one you guys prefer and why :)
