...to my own detriment.
Picture a fairly crowded dancefloor, those around me without a care in the world start entering my personal space. Rather than unintentionally killing their groove, I will lean or step away as much as I can to allow them the space to move freely but what ends up happening is I find myself with barely any space to do anything other than bob my head to the beat with my arms at my side in fear of bumping anyone and throwing off their groove. Essentially I kill my own groove. I would love to groove as I usually do but I can't shake the idea of bumping my neighbors so 9 times out of 10 I would usually exit the area and find more space in the back until it happens again.
