why is my dick smaller when I lay on my back?

So like the title says, my dick is smaller when I lay on my back, in terms of girth. While it does more lengthy, my girth at my largest point goes from around 5.1in to 4.8ish inches, which I don't particularly like. Is there a reason for this? Is there a way to make it stop? Any and all advice and help is welcome, and I thank you for your time :)
