I know most guys are insecure about their size and even if I was bigger I'd probably still feel that way. So for those who've had body dysmorphia or just been super depressed about their feeling of inferiority even being close to average, are there any things that really made a massive difference to how you felt when it came to sex or confidence specifically about being naked?
I always tried to find ways to compensate - I workout hard, eat as well as I can, and have been told I have a good body. But inevitably in the gay world you want to see dick pics... And then the response is inevitably something like, "well, at least you can still be a bottom". I've never been with a guy smaller than me (I'm about 4.5" nbel, 5.4" bpel, and it looks small in photos), almost never chatted with another guy my age and size, and honestly it's just soul crushing everytime I'm talking with someone who says they have been shown how small they are with their 6.5" - 7". I can't even watch certain porn anymore without getting upset, because there's just no comparison. The best compliment I've had is being told I had a chode, and i feel pretty mixed about that as a positive anyway.
I have a very kind bf who doesn't care about my size, because he's totally a top, but I just want.... I don't know, to be able to offer passionate sex that I actually feel good about myself after (and it's not almost always me jerking off alone to get off).
So is there any way of thinking that really changed your perspective on this for the better, no matter what your size?
