are there cases of gifted(?) girths but not in lengthwise

Looking at BDP, I (18) (BP 5.5 x 5.5) have the same girth with the average of those peeps, which can be also seen on CalcSD that girthwise I'm top 95%, but apparently I'm only up to average in terms of length. Is this something that is actually common? Can it be inferred that I might be delayed lengthwise because girth development comes first?

PS. I hope that I still grow like an extra inch lengthwise tho, hehe.

Edit: I'm on the Eastern Average since I'm in Asia; just wanna add this if it actually makes a difference on the size perception
