So, friend had his new (used) 1998 F150 back from after purchase brake job. Always always get a pre-purchase inspection folks....
I went to do a look over. Sadly I do not have time right now to actually work on much automotive stuff.
Pics are findings.
1) Trans Pan. No work was done to it 2) Hole in muffler 3) near manifold separated exhaust 4) rear shock or what is left both are in same condition 5) frame to bed rod rusted out both sides 6) C-Clamp bed cross member support there are a total of 4.....other cross member isnt shown 7) front upper control arm bushing...all similar 8) idk wtf the guy did to the light.. bumper is also not correct and seated to drivers side an extra inch or two 9) cv axle boot missing...others are torn and or in bad shape 10) Grooved to heck rotor. Both are in need of replace. 11) both brake line brackets are not attached on either side. Lined are rubbing on rusty frame.
There was more. A lot more.
