Hey all. I have a 2013 Kia Optima SX. It was hit a couple of times (2 different occasions, 2 different drivers) while parked. Both times it was fixed professionally at a shop, around 4 years ago or so each time. A few months ago, the bumper just decided to become partially unhinged on the driver side (maybe I hit a pot hole, not too sure). A friend of mine tried to use JB Weld but you can see how well that worked.
I'm thinking about using a JDM bumper quick release kit ( https://www.amazon.com/iJDMTOY-Universal-Finish-Release-Fastener/dp/B00JJYPATO ) to "fix" it, so the bumper stays in place. I just need to buy a .25in drill bit and some touch up paint but I have the other necessaries tools. Would this work for my particular situation? Does anyone have any experience with these? Install looks straightforward from a few YT vids I watched.
Thanks!
