I'm not a car person at all. Our ac in the car quit working. We bought a coolant kit with the Compass readout thing and it was in the red so it obviously needed it. Here's where it gets weird it's threw out cold air for a day. Now when the AC is on and it set to cold the only time it's throwing out cold cold air is when we're idling or in park. Otherwise it's sort of cold air. It's driving me nuts not knowing what it is. The fact it's throwing out cold air at stops makes me think it is the actuator. This may be an absurd theory. I don't know much about cars. It's dark interior and leather seats. Where I live gets really hot. I don't necessarily need the AC, but its nice to have the option on hotter days. May be helpful to note that when the warmer air comes through it has a stagnient smell.
