Hey all. I'm not having an issues but I just have a quick question. I have a 2018 Kia Stinger, currently at 75K miles. Long story short, the long block and turbo were replaced at 60K miles, under warranty through Kia.
I know it's technically not a whole new engine, since a long block doesn't include intake/exhaust manifolds, electricals, fuel system, etc... but, do I "basically" have a new engine? Did the long block replacement basically add 60K miles of life back to the car? I know other parts have 60K (well, 75k now) miles of use. Also, as it's a pretty new engine (long block), do I need to use high mileage oil since I'm at 75K miles on the car overall?
Thanks!
