Hello all!

I just moved into my apartment a week ago. It’s my first time living alone ever. I won’t always be alone since sometimes my brother will visit and my partner will likely be over whenever he is free. I also got a hamster. I’ve had 2 before at different times and so I’m happy to have a new one. He’s still acclimating, but I am hopeful to start handling him in a week or so.

I think what I really want to know is what I might want to get or set up that others have found helpful when living alone or even just independently.

Examples of things I’ve already done/own: - Made spare keys and gave them to my partner, brother and a friend. - Have 2 pairs of noise cancelling earbuds tho I haven’t felt the need to use them yet. - Have several of the sleeping pokémon plushies for help when Im overwhelmed.

Maybe there won’t be much advice but I am feeling a bit anxious about what I should do to help myself in this new environment. Any advice would be helpful!
