I recently realized I'm autistic. I'll probably never get a diagnosis because I'm a 28F but my whole life suddenly makes sense, the world makes sense and I am relieved.
An old symptom has popped up again, it could be ptsd but I'm wondering if it's actually autism. Skin crawling isn't the best term for it but its the best I could come up with. It's like that sensation deep in my body. I am deeply, physically uncomfortable and actually have to move myself to the sofa because my thrashing wakes up my husband. The only time the sensation stops is if I'm moving. There isn't any stimuli that sets it odd. In fact this time I was woken from a dead sleep to this feeling. Has anyone experienced anything similar or is this something completely unrelated?
