Got autism diagnosis 8 years ago. From an expensive therapist. Never treated my pcp said it was adhd. 4 years ago they said bipolar and I’ve been heavily medicated for that plus therapy.
Recently my health dropped fast. Enough for all my providers to huddle because it’s not working.
I’m feeling quite confused. Psyche said autism describes everything better it just wasn’t looked at.
So 8 years of decline leading to some episode and I just zombie medicated said sure you are the pro.
I think they just over medicated me to stop everything.
I’ve only felt whole recently.
I’m so confused has anything similar happened? Can autism present as other stuff?
Like is there a chance I’m just three pepper neurospicy and not the death sentence of bipolar? I’d love to taper off meds that are not working trying to solve something else.
Instead of disassociating they think it’s parts theory.
Any good books to read? I’m excited and scared. I wanted an answer my whole life I’m 44 and this journey is killing me slowly. I want out please
I’ve lost everything because of this.
