TLDR: I (F19) want to know what good things I should look for in partners (and friends) that indicate they have good intentions toward me and will be good people.
Background Info:
I (F19) have a very long history of being taken advantage of/abused and only catching on when it was too late. I for the life of me can't see anyone as a bad person, it just doesn't make sense in my mind, which makes it difficult to identify when people are trying to hurt me, and even harder to leave them.
I'm taking a long break from dating to focus on healing my burnout & healing my cognitive dissonance, but I want to know what good things I should look for in partners (or friends) that indicate they have good intentions toward me and want good things for me.
