Issues with hyper sensitive sense of smell

I have a girl who is my FWB we have been seeing each other for a while. Every so often when we kiss I can smell something that is so off putting I can’t kiss her and she gets really self conscience. I did explain that it’s not her it’s just I have a very very powerful sense of smell. Most times when we kissed in the past it’s been fine and I’ve had other encounters where there is no issue. Anyone else have this same issue with smell when kissing? It’s not her breath it’s like it’s in her nasal passage or something it is so weird and so frustrating as I am a very affectionate guy that loves deep sensual kissing.
