I figured I would share this with the community because it has greatly helped me.
I’ve always struggled with socks and prefer to go barefoot. Well I’m also diabetic, not severely so and my blood sugar is under control. However I do have problems with my feet swelling or getting really really cold due to poor circulation.
So I bought diabetic socks. If you are struggling with finding socks uncomfortable, but have to wear them head to the store and grab a pair of diabetic socks.
Diabetic socks are designed to not to rub or irritate your feet. So they have a completely flat toe seam. Often times they are extra padded on the bottom. The elastic is also woven to be non binding or restricting.
Don’t worry about taking something away from diabetics, they are widely available everywhere from drugstores to shoe stores to Walmart and online.
