Is a diagnosis worth it?
Post Body

Im realizing I think i might be on the spectrum but idk what to do with this info. Without a diagnosis im not "really" autistic even right and cant go arround telling people i am right? Im weird about eye contact, socially deaf, hypefixate on things pretty frequently, dont really have an urge to interact with other people on my own and am really sensitive to certain noises and imagery. I feel so dirty about self-diagnosing but its getting harder to make excuses and pretend like i dont experience this stuff.

Is a diagnosis worth it? Ive heard it is very challenging and expensive to get one. Will i face stigma from people who know i am? Will it help me in any way cause i know this cant exactly be "cured". What should i do?
