So my cousin got married in Canada the other day and I was invited but I couldn't go because I couldn't get a passport in time but because of it my grandmother who did go told me all about it and she kept saying that they danced weird and so I started looking up videos of people dancing and I eventually realized they were skanking so at that point I was filled with pride because I was the person who got my cousin into Ska and I shared this with her her response was "sure go ahead and take credit" in a sarcastic manner. So at that point I explained that I shared with him a great book on the subject showed him a great documentary and introduced him to my curated playlist but she wasn't getting it and I was just feeling worse and worse about it but I let the point go for the moment and went home to cry and I can't stop thinking about the situation. I don't remember where I was going with this I'm sorry, thanks for listening.
