So today we brought our two year old child in for an evaluation because we were concerned about her speech not being at where she should be.
The professionals did a series of evaluations with her while they asked my fiancé and I various questions in regards to her communication, motor skills, and daily life routines
During the end while they were giving us their opinions based on the results, one of them brought up (very respectfully of course) that based on their observations, they believe that our daughter displays certain behaviors of autism. They’re not 100% sure, but wanted to let us know just so we can monitor it while we work on her communication and fine motor skills.
If this is the case, do you have any advice for us? Any help would be helpful. I don’t have any experience with this. Thanks in advance!
