I just want to preface this by clarifying i am not Autistic.I have however been watching a couple K Dramas that center autistic characters, including Extraordinary Attorney Woo. The actress who plays Woo Young Woo, named Park Eun-Bin, is not autistic yet is playing someone who clearly is. Eun-Bin says that she created Woo by not "imitating" other autistic people/characters that are already out there, but by "making her own". Almost as if Woo is somebody who already exists. Looking from a perspective not well versed on the spectrum, its easy to say its one way or another. But as we all know, its important to get other opinions, especially of those in that said community. Does Extraordinary Attorney Woo give good representation? What could it have done better?
