I saw a post about a big sign a mother painted on her autistic black son's house to protect him from police. Why couldn't there be a system in place with all police departments so that anyone who elects to could post this kind of information with a QR code at the door and make it police policy to check before engaging. Systematize it. Just a thought. I am a total outsider to your community, but hoped this might be a helpful thought. Good wishes to all. Be well.
