Not on here to ask people to diagnose me or anything but the past year or so I have been coming to terms with the fact that I may be on the spectrum. I have always had “odd” (not to sound offensive by any means) behaviors and have always been a little on the weird side so to speak haha. A lot of my quirks and tendencies have matched with symptoms of being on the spectrum and I even took the RAADS-R test that was seen all over TikTok and Twitter and got like a 153 lol. However, a lot of my family and friends have told me that I don’t have it and that I’m just weird and quirky, which could be the case, but I feel like a lot of their opinions are very stereotyped since autism in a lot of ways with people who aren’t educated has a stigma against it and in society when you have autism a lot of people just think you are stupid and dumb and my family seems to think that’s what I’m implying when I say hey I think I’m on the spectrum. I guess I just don’t know how to go about this! I want to know why I do the things I do but I also don’t want to be offensive or self-diagnose and all that. So I’m just needing some advice:)
