We have finite resources we can’t scrap everything and remake to something else. If we could majority of useful resources like technology lasts for years and doesn’t just get throne out after you’re done! For now I think we should just focus on saving earth but eventually the next generations will be living in a world with such a high population and limited resources that the only thing anyone will worry about is getting off earth. We don’t have the technology and knowledge to really worry about space travel right now. It’s going to take several light years to find a suitable planet. We can’t terraform planets! You’d probably die before you found a planet with oxygen. We could go to a planet like Mars but I really don’t think big business owners with billions of dollars should be founding fathers!
