I am trying to confirm the details for my new role. Recruitment consultant, for clerical and IT positions, various permanent positions and also contract and temp work.
Should this fall under a modern award, or the private sector clerks or miscellaneous award?
I know depending on position/company it varies, but I'm not sure mine is correct. Ive not been able to confirm with fair work as yet due to Christmas etc
Also, the commission structure -
Contract/ temp:
Commission Rate: 15% of the contractor’s hourly or daily rate, billed to the client.
Payment Timing: Commissions are paid monthly based on the contractor’s billable hours.
Duration: Payments continue for the duration of the contractor’s assignment or until a maximum placement fee is reached.
Permanent Placement:
Commission Rate: 10% of the candidate’s first-year salary.
Payment Timing:
50% of the commission is paid upon the candidate’s start date.
The remaining 50% is paid after the candidate successfully completes the probation period (e.g., 3 months).
Clawback Clause:
If a candidate leaves within 90 days, the company reserves the right to adjust or reclaim the commission paid.
Performance Bonuses:
Quarterly bonus for meeting or exceeding placement targets (e.g., $2,000 for 10 successful placements in three months).
Realistically, what are then chances of 10 successful placements in 3 months?
