Excuse my ignorance but what would the repercussions of that be? I thought it was tacitly understood that Labor’s mission is to empower the lower to middle class and work to bridge wealth inequality divides?
Tightening tax loopholes for multinationals, abolishing negative gearing and other tax incentives plus constraining or sanctioning foreign investment that has turned the property market into a big ugly game of monopoly, among other things. People will argue that it’s not this simple, but the alternative is what? continuing on this downward trajectory that fucks over most of the population?
Surely failing to do so will eventually attract resentment from those it’s supposed to represent ( it already is ) while the rich will generally continue voting liberal, so they will be left with no few loyal voters.
Or are they really just a bunch of self seeking scumbags concerned with feathering their own nests whilst appearing high minded and liberal?
Let's face it both party's want to kill all the poor. It's just the liberals have the guts to say it like they mean it!
