Maybe schools need to get better at recognising learning disorders in girls, particularly dyscalculia.
Absolutely same. ADHD and multiple learning disorders were ignored in the 90s.
Absolutely the same for me. Beung constantly brerated for my inability to do math has left emotional scars.
"Oh hey, bobby seems to really struggle with retaining basic math skills" isn't something you can do? Then the school my bonus kid is at is doing things very wrong.
All of those things are literally for that purpose?!
I'm not suggesting anyone diagnose. I'm suggesting teachers learn what learning disorders look like and let parents know if kids are struggling in academic areas.

Schools should absolutely have psychologists. But teachers already are meant to be able to see if kids are struggling in academics, which they should then bring up with parents to get appropriate assessments done.
