What are people's thoughts on airlines being more specific about the people who can sit in an exit row?
I'm on a flight and there's a 90yo man who is frail sitting in the exit row.
This seemingly places more people at risk if there is an emergency and rapid disembarking is required. A fit healthy person can help to unlock the doors and act quickly. That reduces the systemic risk in the situation.
The same would go for anyone who is unfit, overweight etc.
Is it discrimination to screen passengers to be fit for the role or not?
