I spent at least 6 hours today experiencing homelessness while at my friends vacation house and watching fireworks. It made me think about our friends who are also unhoused.
Let’s make an effort to donate a lot of fireworks to those who make Austin vibrant and colorful in the intersections, underpasses, and green spaces. I’m personally donating $400 in fireworks to people around town who need a little fun in their lives.
Nothing like getting charged up on meth and running around with a half dozen Roman candles. Let’s make sure those without homes are still celebrating with a bang!
