Explanation of Section 10 - Bonds (NSW)
Post Body

Hey there,

I recently had some legal advice about an upcoming court appearance for speeding (doing the normal speed limit of 50km) in a school zone when the school was already closed for Xmas holidays, but was apparently a prescribed school day under NSW legislation.

The lawyer told me to cite Section 10 - Bonds and to plead leniency under that part of the law

Can someone explain to me what he may have be referring to by using Section 10 - Bonds and how I would word it or express it to a Judge?

Any other useful information would also help IE: previous cases or news articles
