Job Description, Industrial Clerk?

Post Body

I work for a small Australian office with a German parent company, and a lot of the descriptions we use don't translate accurately to English. So we're looking for someone to assist with technical paperwork, small (internal) sales offers and repair/service reports, to be a first point of contact for the office and some odd jobs, but not handling any bookkeeping or finance related stuff. They do need to have a basic understanding of the technical side of the business but are unlikely to do any hands on work. In Germany they would call this role an Industrial Clerk. Is there a better job description here in Aus?
