Howdy Folks,

As the title says I've been a loyal BMW owner for the past 20 years or so. I'm picking up a 2018 S5 Prestige Sportback with all the options, including the S Sport pack, from Carmax later this week (just waiting on it to be shipped to my local carmax). I've run the full gamut of bimmers from a 525i to a 328i to a 335is (AWD, N54, tuned, with intake) to Z4 35is (N54, tuned with intake and exhaust) to M2 to 330i. I'm well versed in what to look for on a Bimmer. After some customer service issues with my latest bimmer I decided to see what Audi could offer.

I've got 3 questions for you folks if y'all don't mind.

What issues or noises should I check for when I go to pick it up?

If anyone has similar BMW experience, what did you really like after the switch and what annoyed you?

Is the S5 Prestige really as fast and fun as youtube makes it look?

edit: added that it's a sportback
