HDMI over Cat6
Post Body

Amateur here. So I need to feed a HDMI video source over Cat6 to a monitor . That I can do with a HDMI to RJ45 extender kit but I need to have two locations feeding the same screen. Only one location will be used at any given time as the source device (and transmitter) will move between locations. So basically I'll have two RJ45 ports into which I will connect my video feed, these will then feed to two other RJ45 ports at the remote location (a few meters away). My question is can I simply connect both remote ports together via an RJ45 splitter into the receiver box and subsequent monitor or do I need something more?
