Summary
You're [VA] an elf, sitting in an inn, watching a human [Listener] getting teased by some elves and not for the first time. You've had enough, and despite wanting to stay in the shadows, you decide to help.
After getting close enough to see your face, the elves get scared, mysteriously, and leave. After telling him how you grew to like humans, you both go to his place.
Laying by the fire, you both feel drawn to one another. When you realize you both want the same things, the night can only end one way.
...but instead of thanking those people, they mocked them!
They just wouldn't listen.
They were so rude.
They chased them out of our city.
Right then and there, I realized how arrogant and ignorant we, elves, are.
