A Little Behind-the-Scenes

Today (May 1st) is the one-year anniversary of the release of my very first script by the same name. I'd like to think my writing has improved since then, and I wanted to celebrate this occasion by revisiting my favourite plot idea. I have not read the old script in months (although I basically have it memorized from the number of times I've read it) and I didn't want it to be a one to one copy of it either, rather I wanted to take the same basic premise and rebuild it as if it were my first time writing it. The original still holds a very special place in my heart, but it was in definite need of a tune up. I hope you all enjoy reading and/or performing this one as much as I did creating it.

The Plot:

I wasn't too sure about swiping right on a guy a little younger than me, but I was pleasantly surprised by how gentle, sweet, and caring you were the entire time we spent together. Following our lovely first date out on the town, you drive me back to my place where we wrap up our conversation. Just as we are about to part ways, I find out that this was your first date, and feeling very content with how the night went, I offer to let you in and to show you to a night of many more firsts.
