Audio repair is unfortunately becoming a lost art, as we are losing experienced technicians due to age, as well as the fact that many people would rather purchase some BPC (black plastic crap) than to invest in repairing their older works of art.
Due to this I felt personally compelled to created this subreddit.
Despite my lack of formal engineering experience I felt that many people would join in my enthusiasm for replacing and designing audio components, no matter what their skill level.
I therefor propose a wiki, and would like to invite anyone with knowledge of CSS and reddit to help us out. Please message the moderators and list your qualifications and why you are interested in audio gear and how you feel you could help in any way towards our goal of educating and creating a repository of information, so that the skills and experience of these technicians do not disappear.
Thank you.
