Are these good starter speakers?

Hey guys. I've been lurking r/vinyl and r/audiophile for some time now and found these speakers that I think would be great starter speakers for me. I just recently bought my first turntable but still need a few things like an amp. (suggestions also welcome)

Anyway, here's the kicker. I can get them for free. I have a program at work that uses points that we can redeem for merchandise. All I have to do is pay tax. I would rather not use my points if these are crap speakers, but if they are somewhat decent then I will go for it.

So, are these good enough speakers for an audiophile noob?
