How can I sound treat a room with heavy air exchange?

Post Body

What im trying to say is, how do I sound treat a room with not only vents but also fans? I get that this is kind of a nightmare scenario and the answer is probably "you should't" or even "cant". I have a meditation studio, I meditate and do hippie stuff but also listen to music (everything from death grips to brubeck) it's a relatively small space that has fans operating, the fans (warehouse style maybe ~18 inches) themselves are pretty quiet, wd-40, filters and I've already gone ahead and installed some neoprene stuff around it. my question is two-fold... how do I make it a better space to play music in and how do i minimize sound coming from the outside because let's be real: nothing harshes your mellow like the neighbor using his lawnmower or whatever.Im also just really susceptible to stimulus and having a nice quiet place would be really great for anxiety. I'm the type of wierdo who cant sleep without near perfect darkness.
