Hello, i am an incoming college student- i still have time to choose a course and i've set my mind in becoming a sound/audio engineer; despite knowing that that job pays a bit less than other jobs (at least where i'm from), i'd really love to go with what i actually want to do.
But, now i'm conflicted- there's only one university here that offers a Music Technology course; i'll be applying for that but, the acceptance rate for that univ. is a bit low- i need backup schools and i've thought of applying for an Electrical Engineering course, but i'm still unsure on whether or not that would be a good course when it comes to working as an audio engineer.
should i go for it then just earn a masters degree in music? or will that course be enough to work as an audio/sound engineer?
