Does anyone have any literature focused on the technical aspects of mixing down audio for Movies and TV?

I was recently offered the chance to interview at a couple very high budget audio post production studios through a close personal connection. I have worked as a recording/mixing engineer on the music side of things in the past, and that is where a vast majority of my experience comes from. I was wondering if there was any more technical literature about the mixdown process for movies and television, so I can avoid all the explanations of equalization and compression. Any leads help though. Thanks in advance.
