So this is a little out there but I figured this was the best place to come for help. I have a commercial grade air pump for a fish tank that is insanely loud. I have to keep the air pump cool so I have built a suspended box to house the pump that has a 6" duct coming in on either side that cold air flows through, which I know in itself creates a big problem for allowing noise to escape but I still want to sound proof the box itself as much as I am able too. I should also note that the pump itself is suspended upside down inside the box by hooks through its rubber feet. Any feedback is appreciated!
