Plugin that shows distortion visually?

I'm working in an audio post production project in which a guy has to send me some ai processed files. The problem is the files come with distortion and we gotta fix it, but I was not able to remove it with anything. The bigger problem is that that guy doesnt recognize distortion. like, we have shown him videos and samples and etc, and he just doesn't get it. he doesnt hear it.

What tool can I use that will show the distortion in a visual manner? Strangely enough, it is not a distortion from clipping, cause the waveforms are fine. Izotope RX doesnt seem to show the distortion.
