It's obviously a mix of the melody being doubled by his voice with some form of filtering I think? (wouldn't mind some clarification on that though)

But what is that guitar sound? Is it even a guitar? Why does it sound like there's no attack on it? But also, Paul made this song in the 90s, like wtf lmao. But yeah just mainly trying to figure out the effects on the guitar and possibly on the vocals in that section, thanks!!
