I'm recording my big ol' drum kit with a lot of toms. I have four drum kits, myself (drummer here), and have spent LOTS of time tuning them and recording them -Hours and hours and hours of test recordings and rehearsing (basically learning how to become an engineer by recording them), so I like to think I pretty much know what I'm doing - but, I'm a little nervous that I'm going to get to the mixing stage and maybe 3 of them will be right about where I want them to be, but maybe the others will be off, and then I don't know what after that - Retrack? Pitch correct the toms?
Just curious to see how ya'll might deal with this - recording lots of toms. Maybe any recommendations for tom correction in the mix if necessary?
Thanks
