I started getting heavily into Audio Drama podcasts around the start of the year, and burn through them fairly quickly, so I am constantly looking for something new to listen to on Spotify.
If I had to rate the top 10 so far I'd have to say
- Silt Verses
- Old Gods of Appalachia
- I am in Eskew
- Midnight Burger
- Neighborly
- Malevolent
- Wake of Corrosion
- Copperheart
- The Program
- White Vault
Others that I've listened to and possibly enjoyed: The Strata, Don't Mind Cruxmont, The Oyster, Embers of Eden. I feel like there are others I've finished and aren't coming to mind right now.
I will say that because I listen to these at work with headphones on, I'm a bit picky on how things play. I don't have an issue with ads, but them being a part of the show, or at least done by the cast is less jarring. If they're at the start, end, and in the middle of the of the show, I'll most likely lose interest. I will absolutely sub to your shows patreon\socials if it's a solid show, but I need to be able to get into the story first, and if I have to stop what I'm doing every 12 minutes to skip ads\promos\and a 2 minute theme song, it's probably going to be a no, sadly. You've now become work while I'm already at work.
What amazing audio dramas am I missing out on?
