Does anyone have this issue with Hoopla audio books?

I like to listen to books generally between 1.6x-2x and I usually use overdrive, I have 2 library cards, my other library uses Hoopla and I decided to check some books out there and at any speed over 1.3x the audio has lots of glitches and skips in it. I am using the Android Hoopla app with Android 11 and Motorola phone. I don't think there is any fix to it, just don't know if it is a common issue.

I now have a Samsung phone and its not an issue...this only seems to be an issue with Motorola phones.
