When I say easy going i dont mean like Lord of the Rings or Mistborn I tried listening to them I just can't I tried the final empire, the crystal shard as well and the dragonriders of pern but its something about the language.
I also tried getting into robin Hobbs but cant cause too many books to catch up.
Here's the ones I enjoyed and loved though
Harry potter stephen fry, Narnia, The mystwick school of musicraft by Suzy jackson (amazing voice)
While I do love fantasy I think I'm too stressed to get into a huge world that has several books these days. It's okay if it's a trilogy or something just need to have modern language and a decent teller if so and a premise that catches my eye.
I also tried game of thrones but since I've seen the show I cant really enjoy the book cause I read it after.
But I do hope you can give me some recommendations based on my hard criteria.
Also I guess my recommendations are more in the young adult sections but I also like the adult modern fantasy just haven't found any that interested me yet
