Two Optical Outputs into one, help!
Post Body

Here's the situation. We just got an Amazon Echo Dot, and want it to connect to our stereo system (old Kenwood model). Thing is, we have an XBox One that is connected that we use for everything through the optical input.

We don't want to switch inputs on the stereo to use the Echo Dot while the XBox is running. The Echo Dot has a 3.5mm output. And the stereo doesn't have Bluetooth.

Is there a way to have both the Xbox and Echo come through a splitter into the stereo? The splitter we currently have doesn't seem to work.

Any solution is appreciated. And one that will work will reward you will Reddit Gold, because I am out of options here haha.

Thanks everyone!
