Sony's MDR-XB55AP In mic not working for me, both on my phone and laptop.

For reference, I have a note 8 (phone) and G14 2021 model (Laptop)

I've been recently using Discord and when the earphone is plugged in, the mic doesn't work, but the phone's mic is working itself.

As for the laptop, I just tested using the sound recorder, and it worked the first time, and now, whenever I try, it doesn't anymore for some reason.

The audio is working perfectly fine, it's the built-in mic of the XB55AP that I'm having trouble with :< I'm sure there's an option or an app that I need to make it run.
