Need suggestions on Overear and in ear headphones that have good noise canceling that can block out loud upstairs neighbors.

I have a pair of ‎SE215 Pro's and they sound good but don't fully block out my neighbors unless I fully turn it up to 100% volume, which I'm worried could damage my hearing.
I need headphones that are overear for gaming and in ear for music so when I sleep at night i can put them in my ipod to block out the noisy neighbors.
any suggestions please?
