Hi all,
I'm unsure if this is the right place to post this, but I require some help with my audio equipment hooked up to my work setup. My setup is nothing outlandish, but here's the situation: I have a set of speakers connected via speaker wire for output and a subwoofer, a TV above my setup that has an aux cable to it, and an aux cord connected to my laptop setup.
All 4 of those cables - The speakers themselves, the subwoofer, the aux cable from my laptop, and the TV aux cable, feed into an input switcher. On the input switcher, I have a splitter for the speakers and the subwoofer output feed so the audio goes to the same place with the TV in one port and the aux cable from my laptop going into another port.
Now here's the problem. Everything works just fine as it is, but sometimes I'll bump one of the cables and it sends the world's loudest screeching feedback sound through my speakers.
I feel like I have tried everything, but I figured I would ask professionals. I attached an image of the setup too in case that helps.
Thank you!
