Looking for recommendations

Might be a long shot but does anyone have any recommendations for a sad or melodramatic scifi book or series. Prefer something on audible if so, need something to help me channel my emotions. I have a particular fondness for books that feature introspection prominently as a theme. Thank you for your time.
